Brief background on Kinship for Humanitarian Social Holistic Intervention in India (KHUSHII)
KHUSHII is a non-profit organisation working for the upliftment and holistic development of underprivileged children, women and vulnerable families. Founded in December of 2003 by Cricket legend Kapil Dev, KHUSHII is currently working in 11 states in India namely Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka reaching out to approx. 30,000 children and impacting lives of more than 5 lakh in the communities in their fight against poverty, abandonment, social neglect.
Roles and Responsibilities
Working on the thematic vertical on Manoshakti Program (mental health counseling) for exclusive and integrated programme models
Effective and timely grant utilization on specified models.
Establishing rapport with key training bodies on the theme of mental well being
Developing/Improvising training modules on mental well being
Anchoring training programmes for duty bearers such as counselors/teachers on mental well being.
Capacity building and guidance to team members engaged in counseling at implementation levels.
Ensure adherence to deliverables and key result area’s as per organizational plans on arenas on mental health programming.
Work with the M&E vertical to support in designing of tools and maintenance of database management in context of mental health counseling.
Develop KRA’s for counselors, assess periodically and input towards improvisation/adherence.
Health & Sanitizations workshops & providing In house trainings to educators
Preparing counseling donor reports on requirement basis
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in counseling towards mental wellness with children
Demonstrated knowledge of working with non-profit initiatives focusing on child development
Experience of handling implementation teams and frontline staff.
Understanding on child protection norms and legal adherence for children related issues
Equipped to anchor and handle online/technological modes of teaching and counseling
Experience in liasoning/stakeholder engagement at state/national levels.
Qualification
Masters Degree/Diploma in Clinical Psychology or related fields
Track record of working with children on fronts of counseling
Proficiency in English and Hindi, additional languages will be preferred.
Fluent windows application.
Equipped with online modes of interaction.
