Brief background on Kinship for Humanitarian Social Holistic Intervention in India (KHUSHII)
KHUSHII is a non-profit organization working for the upliftment and holistic development of underprivileged children, women, and vulnerable families. Founded in December of 2003 by Cricket legend Kapil Dev, KHUSHII is currently working in 12 states in India, reaching out to approx. 80,000 students and impacting the lives of more than 5 lakh community members in the adjoining communities’ poverty, abandonment, and social neglect.
Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the thematic vertical on Manoshakti & Manobal Program for integrated program models

Effective and timely grant utilization on specified models.

Establishing rapport with key training bodies on the theme of Manoshakti & Manobal programme of mental health & well-being.

Developing/Improvising training modules and assessments tools on mental health & well-being, for students, Teachers, and school leads
-
Anchoring training programs for duty bearers such as counselors/teachers on mental health and well-being.

Capacity building and training of team members engaged in counseling at implementation levels.

Ensure adherence to deliverables and key result areas as per organizational plans on arenas on mental health and well-being.

Work with the M&E vertical to support in designing of tools and maintenance of database management in context of mental health counseling.

Develop KRA’s for counselors, assess periodically and input towards improvisation/adherence.

Health & Sanitizations workshops & providing In house trainings to educators

Preparing counseling donor reports on the well-being index.

Prepare mental well-being report cards for student’s climate.
Required Skills and Experience:
-
Minimum 8-10 years of experience of working in the social sector on life skills, Social emotional learning (SEL), and mental health and well-being with children from disadvantaged backgrounds. -
Demonstrated knowledge of developing and conducting session for non-profit initiatives focusing on child development with focus on adolescents and guidance and intervention models

Experience of handling implementation teams and frontline staff.

Understanding on child protection norms and legal adherence for children related issues

Equipped to anchor and handle online/technological modes of teaching and counseling

Experience in liasoning/stakeholder engagement at the state/national levels.
Qualification

Master’s Degree/Diploma in Clinical Psychology or related fields

Track record of working with children on fronts of counseling

Proficiency in English and Hindi, additional languages will be preferred.

Proficiency in MS-Office and Windows application.

Equipped with online modes of interaction.
