Job Title: Fund Raising Manager
Location: Byculla, Mumbai, Maharashtra
The organisation is charitable foundation to eradicate hunger as vulnerability from Mumbai. Our Program supports 7000+ beneficiaries across 24 govt. hospital and Bal Shiksha Ahara Program provides breakfast & lunch meals to 8000+ beneficiaries in 104 municipal schools to achieve ZERO classroom hunger. Our aim is to ensure better health and education for our beneficiaries through food-security.
Job Summary:
As the Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's expansion by developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with existing donors, acquiring new donors, and securing funding to support our new initiatives. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for social impact and the ability to drive fundraising efforts to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy:
Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the organization's expansion plans.
Identify new funding opportunities and innovative approaches to secure financial support.
Pitch for partnership for our programs or CAPEX requirement.
Donor Cultivation:
Cultivate and steward relationships with existing donors, ensuring strong engagement and retention.
Identify and engage with potential new donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
Fundraising Campaigns:
Attend fundraising campaigns and events to attract donations and support.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and messages.
Grant Writing and Proposals:
Research and identify relevant grant opportunities for funding the organization's expansion.
Prepare grant proposals, applications, and reports, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Donor Communication and Engagement:
Develop effective communication strategies to engage donors and keep them informed of our impact.
Coordinate donor visits, events, and activities to enhance donor experience and appreciation.
Budget Management:
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate budgeting and financial tracking of fundraising activities.
Monitor and analyze fundraising data to evaluate progress and optimize strategies.
Prepare and Send Fund Utilization report to Donors
Stakeholder Liaison:
Act as a liaison between Organisation and external stakeholders, including government bodies, partner organizations, and community leaders.
Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and meetings to promote fundraising objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in fundraising with a track record of successfully securing funds for nonprofit organizations. Proven experience in corporate sales will also be preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and creativity in developing fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and fundraising software.
Experience:
2 years or above
Additional Requirements:
Residency in Mumbai and willingness to occasionally attend evening or weekend events.
Passion for social impact and commitment to the organization's mission.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership qualities.
