Position–X-ray Technician
Location – Rajasthan-Alwar/Palgarh Maharashtra
Education: Diploma in X Ray Technology(Radiography)
Role and Responsibility:
- X-ray technicians are responsible for obtaining Chest x-ray images of patients via radiographic imaging procedures. The images obtained are basically used by doctors (physicians) to decide on correct treatment schedules for the patient(s), alongside accurate diagnosis.
- The x-ray technician job description also involves interviewing patients and finding out what their problems are; and collecting/documenting necessary information gotten from the patient(s).
- He/she is also involved in the proper positioning of the patient during a radiologic imaging procedure.
- The process of obtaining Chest x-ray images is normally carried out based on the directives or instructions from the doctor/physician in charge.
- He/she (the physician) points out the Chest X ray (particular part of the body) that has to be focused upon.
- A whole lot of x-ray technicians usually work in diagnostic imaging centre’s, while few others work in other healthcare institutions and/or laboratories.
- In the case of orthopaedists (ororthopedists),they make use of these x-ray images gotten by x-ray technicians to carry out treatment on patients.
- The x-ray technician usually has a deep understanding of the handling and maintenance of x-ray imaging equipment. This is important so as to ensure that the correct chest (x-ray) images are gotten always.

Work experience: One-Two years of experience in any recognized institute ororganization.Preference will be given to those who are working on the health program.
