Position Overview:
Job Title: Gynaecologist
Location: Gorakhpur, UP
No of Positions: 01
Budget: 70,000-90,000 per month
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Gynaecology
1. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine gynaecological examinations, screenings, and diagnostic tests at the wellness center.
- Provide prenatal care, monitoring the health of pregnant women and addressing any complications.
- Offer family planning and contraceptive counselling.
- Diagnose and treat reproductive health issues, including infections and hormonal disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform gynaecological surgeries when necessary.
- Analyze medical check-up data and provide counselling sessions as required.
- Supervise and ensure the availability of inventory and supplies of drugs, reagents, and equipment at the wellness center.
- Conduct home visits for elderly/severely sick patients and persons with disabilities.
- Collaborate with other specialists and health facilities for timely referrals.
- Manage the team and contribute to their capacity building.
- Ensure optimum utilization of available resources at the wellness center.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient data and adhere to IPHS/IMC protocols.
- Implement and enforce Protocol/Quality systems.
- Update and maintain documents such as OPD records, medicines, and patients' cards regularly.
- Inspect the requisition and viability of medical equipment and instruments at the wellness centre.
- Create awareness on health topics by participating in campaigns organized through the wellness center.
- Share success stories/anecdotes from the field.
- Prepare trends of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
- Attend periodic review meetings
2. Educational Qualifications: MBBS with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
3. Experience and Other Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in Gynecology.
- Good team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi.
- Registration with the National Medical Council.
