WHAT WILL YOU DO
We are looking for a leader to collaborate with multiple teams and own the overall planning and management of programs in all our health condition areas. This person is expected to be skilled in understanding internal and external stakeholder needs, setting
and managing expectations, building the team’s confidence via effective communication, reliable execution, robust processes and sound reporting metrics. The Roadmap Management Lead should be committed towards and passionate about public health, and ready to join our dynamic team of creative designers, public health experts, and behavioural researchers in order to advance the Care Companion Program.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Prioritisation: Collaborate with the leadership team and key stakeholders across program development, delivery and research teams to identify and define programmatic priorities (scope, timelines, resources, budget etc) in line with organisation’s annual country goals
Change Management: Develop effective systems to manage shifting program priorities due to stakeholder needs and internal goals, including scenario planning to support decision making, internal communications and dashboards
PMO Set-up: Understand the end-to-end program lifecycle within the organisation, and establish a well-organised structure for project planning and management, resource allocation and risk management. Supervise and manage the team of roadmap and project managers.
Communication: Develop and drive systems (project check-ins, project documentation methods, team meetings) to clearly communicate project progress, decisions, risks, dependencies and to drive cross-functional collaboration
Program Execution: Drive country project execution by monitoring progress and reporting on adherence to project goals and milestones during quarterly goals reviews
Program Reviews: Work with the program development and monitoring and learning teams to review program performance, dashboards and reports to provide visibility around on-ground impact, gaps and wins. Work with the programs team to identify improvements and plan for them to be executed in the subsequent iterations of the program.
Internal Process Improvements: Identify bottlenecks in internal processes and drive improvements using insights from various teams to enable seamless execution
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
10+ years of experience in program or project management, business operations or similar strategy & planning roles, preferably in public health organisations or other social enterprises. A PMP or similar certification is an added bonus
Experience in driving multiple cross-functional projects at the same time, from idea to implementation
Familiarity with project management software such as Trello, Asana, Jira and program management methodologies and best practices
High bias towards execution while being comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication across multiple levels of the organisation
Knowledge of and/or experience working in the development sector
Willing to live and work in Bangalore and travel to program implementation sites when required.
