Job Description for Paediatric Neurologist/Developmental Paediatrician
1. General Information
- Location: South Delhi
- Type of Employment: Contractual for a period of 1 year, renewable basis project requirements
- No. of Position: 01
- Reporting to: Project Manager
2. Duties & Responsibilities
- Clinical evaluation of Persons with disabilities
- Preparation of management plan
- Need assessment for referral to other specialities.
- Overall monitoring of other staff and personnel in the centre
- Coordinating and reporting of data and events to the head of the project
- Diagnosis and identification of co-morbid conditions
- Medical management and investigations if any
- Conducting Training programs on disability & Health issues for parents and may be team.
- Referrals to concerned specialist.
- Guidance & counselling to the PwD and their families
- Record keeping and documentation.
- Any other activity related to medical profession given from time to time.
- Conducting Screening & Identification camps in community if needed
3. Other Indicative Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Postgraduate in Paediatrics, Psychiatry, General Medicine or community medicine from an MCI recognized Institute., OR
- Any other equivalent degree/diploma from MCI recognized Institute, Valid MCI registration.
Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioural, Language, Certifications etc.)
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Valid RCI Registration
- Experience with people with disabilities
- Good working knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for diagnosis and treatment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Behave Politely with children or any other person in school.
- Strong understanding of state education policies and regulations
- Effective communication and counselling skills
- Integrity and professionalism
- State license to work as a school psychologist.
- In depth knowledge and experience in individual, group and family psychology
- Problem solver and innovative
- Good organizational and time management skill
- Giving close attention to details and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.
Working days and Timings
Monday – Saturday (2nd and 4th Saturdays off)
Timings – 09:00am to 05:00 pm, 8 hours of duty
Salary: INR 1,20,000 per month. (Inclusive of all taxes)
