Job Description for Paediatric Neurology Nurse
1. General Information
- Location: South Delhi
- Type of Employment: Contractual for a period of 1year, renewable basis project requirements

- Reporting to: Project Manager
2. Duties & Responsibilities
- Paediatric Neuro Nursing is a specialized area of Nursing Practice basically Concerning the cares of children from the conception to adolescence it includes Preventive, Promotive, curative, and rehabilitative care & children.
- Aids care & support to assess the milestones in various Neuro development deficits patients.
- Observation - Assisting the neurological procedures, tests, and Physical assessment of patients.
- Administering the therapeutic medications to the patients.
- Communication skills - communicating with neurologist about history and symptoms of patients and progress of disease.
- Taking blood samples and kept medications at the time of any neurological emergency symptoms.
- Explaining the procedure of medications which are giving at home and some emergency drugs.
- Help the patient for development behavioural, physical, cognitive abilities.
- Educate rehabilitation exercise.
- Record keeping.
3. Other Indicative Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing or midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered nurse or ANM with any state nursing council
Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioural, Language, Certifications etc.)
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication and ability to relate and interact with multicultural teams.
- ability to analyse complex problems, craft possible solutions and recommendations.
Working days and Timings
Monday – Saturday Timings – 09:00am to 05:00 pm
Salary: INR 30,000 per month. (Inclusive of all taxes)
