Title: Program Manager

Location: Mumbai

Reports to: Lead Program Manager/Director

No of Positions: 1

Educational qualification: A post graduate degree in Social Work or any relevant discipline. Essential fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in project management, networking and efficient in managing team.

Travel: Visit to project districts once every month

Essential requirements: Good project management skills, strong networking and communication skills, efficient in managing a team. 

Roles and responsibilities:  

• To oversee project implementation in the Western region of India.
• Facilitate state level workshops on children’s participation and child led advocacy related projects and develop strategic framework for implementation of action plans.
• Ensure projects are implemented as per the action plan and timely completion of deliverables.
• Conduct research and participatory action research.
• Develop training modules and facilitate training workshops and programs for children and adult facilitators to encourage children’s participation and child led advocacy actions.
• Coordinate monitoring and evaluation of the project, prepare monthly reports and final completion reports.
• Oversee local and regional capacity building training of target beneficiaries and team.
• Conduct staff appraisals, prepare quality check reports and devise a responsive and responsible feedback mechanism for beneficiaries and stakeholders.
• Network with both internal and external stakeholders (WCD, ICDS, NCPCR, UNICEF, other partners involved in the project and manage the partnership) and help increase visibility of the organisation.
• Conduct monthly review meetings with partners and update on project progress.
• Oversee financial management of the project.
• Develop strategic plans for fundraising and garnering support for our campaigns.
• Ensure effective lines of communication and reporting to the Head office in Delhi.  
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables as mentioned and any other work as may be assigned.
• Provide overall guidance and management and support to implementing team.
• Ensure that the values, vision, mission and policies of the organisation are upheld.

Monthly salary range : 40-50K
