Reporting Line: To General Manager (GM) – Donor Management, will work closely with Director FR & team.Responsibilities: The role includes the following KRAs (key result areas):
Implement efficient systems to ensure funding partnerships meet full potential i.e. engagement, volunteering + funding opportunities round the year
Keep up to date on Plans (MoUs) i.e. program progress, utilization of funds, allocations and alignment of donor partners on reallocations if needed with apt logical reasoning and analysis
Be responsible for maintaining and grow these funding relationships year on year, project after project or alongside and multi-year commitments
Gradually, also support acquisition of potential (new) donors / funding to other programs
B.Internal Stakeholder Management
Work with the GM/Head and internal teams – Program Heads / Geography Heads and their teams, Finance, Monitoring & Evaluation (Reporting, Social Audits & Surveys) to ensure effective donor communication
Work with implementation teams on budgets and costing structure changes for donors
Support Communications team with information + external comms requirements for social media posts, donor-specific campaigns, donor events etc.
C.Knowledge Mgt. & Process Improvement
Groom junior resources in the team; buddy new joiners
Maintain & update trackers for funding and records for MOUs, Proposals and databases
Timely reporting to donors: accurate & transparent with positive narrative of impact
Ability to understand and analyse costs / budgets and question program spends proposed for funding
Experience and Qualifications: Prefer candidates who possess the following:
Total work experience: For Manager: 10+ years for graduates (pref. commerce / math / economics stream)
/ 8+ years for post-graduates (pref. in management), incl. 3+ years exposure to social sector / directly in an NGO (pref.). For Sr. Manager: 14+ years for grad. /12+ years for PG, incl. 5+ years in social sector (pref.).
Experience in developing connections with potential major donors and supporters
Program or Donor Management experience in the social development space (Corporate Foundations, NGOs / Not for Profit / Social Implementation Partners)
OR - Corporate experience in hospitality/media/ BFSI / KPO in a BD /sales / relationship mgt. role
Prefer experience of working on grant management and/or securing funding for charitable or NGO activities from a variety of funding streams (preferred)
Skilled in data analytics and consulting
Exposure to MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and basic number crunching would be of value
