Position- Designer and Production Manager
Location - Almora, Uttrakhand
The organisation is a non- for -profit, Public Charitable Trust that that works for the improvement of quality of life for underprivileged communities across India through Health, Education, Livelihood and Disability sector interventions
Key Responsibilities area
- To make overall production strategy from receiving orders till submission to FG store.
- Submission of production budgets to Sr Manager
- Scheduling production and meeting production and sampling timelines.
- Production planning based on the analysis of fabric samples received from the buyers.
- Calculate yarn requirement and process request for procurement.
- Prepare, execute and track the dye plan as per requirement.
- Calculate the price of the fabric based on the cost accounting mechanism
- Monitor and document the quality of finished fabric and raw yarn.
- Ensure all looms and other equipment necessary for production are functional, which includes repair maintenance and procurement of additional parts.
- Coordinate with marketing and production teams.
- Coordinate with in-house merchandiser.
- Manage sample natural yarn dyeing (pot dyeing) in the absence of the dye master.
- Individual sales target set mutually with management (if any)
