Title: Communications Associate/Manager
Location: Mumbai
Desh Apnayen Sahayog Foundation, which works with school students in India, is looking for someone with good written communication skills in English to join its office in South Mumbai immediately as a Communications Associate or a Communications Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing - for newsletters, social media posts, PPT decks, etc.
- Co-ordinating with a freelance graphic designer/video editor to get creatives made (or making them directly using Canva.com or any other software)
- Co-ordinating with the NGO team, students and teachers to help document stories of change
Desired attributes:
- We are looking for someone with good written communication skills and attention to detail. Someone who is also willing to learn basic graphic designing/video editing, in case they haven't done such work before. (We can sponsor a course for the selected candidate.)
- Preference may be given to those with a degree in Mass Media, Journalism or English Literature.
- Preference may also be given to those who have worked in a communications/social media management role for two years or more.
Salary:
The salary amount for this full-time job may be between Rs 3 lakhs and Rs 8 lakhs per annum based on the past work experience and qualifications.
