Requirement of Professionals in Gramin Vikas Trust (Rajasthan)
Thematic Expert / Position: Block Livelihood Expert (Agriculture & Allied)
CTC/Annual: 3 LACS plus travelling as per actual
Qualification: Masters in Agricultural Economics / Horticulture / Agroforestry
/ Agronomy / Forestry.
Experience: At least 2 years work experience with reputed Organizations working towards improvement of rural livelihoods. The work experience should be primarily on use of agriculture and allied activities for enhancement of incomes of rural poor.
Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Prepare the plan for Plantation, Horticulture and Livelihood works of the GPs in the Gram Sabha.
2. Prepare design, plan and estimates of the works.
3. Provide layout of the works and monitor the works execution and completion.
4. Actively work to create social awareness about rights and entitlements of MGNREGS.
5. Any other work assigned as and when by the competent authority.

Gramin Vikas Trust
- GVT is a National Level Organization established in 1999 by Krishak Bharti Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO) for bringing about a sustainable improvement in livelihood of the poor and marginalized communities, especially, the tribal population including women. Working since 1992 under the aegis of KRIBHCO, GVT has managed projects costing Rs. 111 crore during 1992-2006. Until 2005-06, it was directly funded by DFID. It is run as a trust; overseen by a Board of Trustees, which includes two Directors from Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers.
