Gramin Vikas Trust (GVT) is running two institutes named as National Livelihood Resource Institute (NLRI) and School of Rural Management (SRM) in the same campus situated in Ratlam, MP which has been established and supported by KRIBHCO and DFID.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Developing a strategic plan for the Institute, in consultation with the Institute's senior faculty.
• Reviewing the performance of the institutes in terms of its objectives as stated in its strategic plan and in its staffing and resource plan.
• Having responsibility for all financial matters, including financial planning and sustainability, resource allocation, and identification of new sources of income.
• Effective business development through writing proposals, mobilizing students for admissions, liaising, networking and collaboration with line departments, NGO’s, institute’s, and funding agencies.
• Ensuring the fulfillment of all the seats every year through the admission of high-quality students.
• Ensuring the regular training programs to be organized for the different agencies, NGO’s and line departments.
• Managing relevant disciplinary procedures for both staff and students.
• Having overall responsibility for the management of the Institute's programme of teaching, training, research and the implementation of the specific projects.
• Ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality teaching and the maintenance of academic standards.
• Developing and maintaining a vibrant research culture of international standards, including the promotion of research initiatives and networks.
• Promoting collaboration within the institute, and with other institutions.
• Implementing decisions of Board and CEO and the supply of information in accordance with Board and/or CEO directions.
• Ensuring new high as for as Branding and Visibility of the institute is concerned
