We are seeking a talented individual to serve as an expert in selecting, assessing and supporting with implementation of tech programs in India. This individual will work closely with our Business Development team, Curriculum, and Instruction (C&I) team along with other functional teams in the country and globally to ensure the right selection and implementation of the program.
This role is a great fit for someone with significant experience in the technology industry with expertise in Web Development. The ideal candidate loves to learn, is passionate about coding and managing projects, and is excited to be part of a growing global education organization. Manager/ SME will support the Curriculum and Instruction team in developing tech roles, supporting the Curriculum and Instruction Lead in recruitment of trainers, designing technical curriculum, supporting trainers and troubleshooting problems faced in and out of classrooms. Driving the technical skills design of the curriculum with employers. Overall looking out for management of technical aspects of the program.
-1 year contract, subject to renewal upon successful completion of targets.
-Overall 7 to 8 years of experience
-Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field.
-Proven experience as a web developer or similar role with proficiency in both front and back end coding.
-5+ years of direct supervision or management experience.
-At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering multi-week training programs or teaching experience, specifically with JAVA programs. (Preferred)
-At least, 1 year of experience training or providing support to instructors. (Preferred)
-Strong organizational and project management skills.
-Web development frameworks/components.
-Design, develop, and implement Java Services on Spring Boot with documentation of the specifications.
-Experience in Web Application Development with Core Java, Spring boot, Microservices, Angular 4+ version, HTML, CSS, JS
-In-depth understanding of design aspect
-Basics of Software Quality and Testing.
Support Business Development Team for program identification and evaluation Other Responsibilities
-To work alongside and in close coordination with the BD team, to conduct interviews with potential employers.
-work with BD teams as technical SME during client calls as and when required.
-Understand the customer requirements during the diagnostic phase and ensure integration in the solution.
-A candidate with strong networking skills & collaboration skills.
-To work alongside and in close coordination with the C&I team, to map activities employees are undergoing in the role and translate these into required technical skills to inform the curriculum design
Support Curriculum and Instruction Team with program implementation
-Evaluate and review technical curriculum with the C&I lead and the global C&I team.
-Design and customize schedules and session plans with C&I Lead for Generation instructors.
-Work closely with the C&I team to understand the curriculum and coordinate complementary resources to share with students during or after the program and identifying gaps in the curriculum.
Instructor Selection and onboarding
-Support the C&I lead in the process of instructor selection:
-Co- designing instructor onboardings and co-facilitating online and face-to-face train the trainer programs.
-Support the C&I Lead in solving instructional issues and challenges that affect student learning and performance, with a specific focus on the technical aspects of the curriculum.
-Provide feedback to the global team and draw attention to improvements and updates in the technical curriculum in order to meet the needs of the market.
-To interface with instructors to propose and accommodate technical adjustments to the curriculum.

The applicant must be open to traveling within the country. The role will be based out of Gurugram, Haryana.
Reporting The position will report to COO of Generation India Foundation.
Salary:- Salary will be commensurate with experience and best in class.
Relevant travel and incidental expenses will also be covered by Generation India Foundation
