Officer - IT Network Services
Position Reports To – Senior Manager – IT Infra Services
Location National office - Chennai
Primary Purpose of Job
-Day to day operation, maintenance and use of the network environment, its hardware and software, primarily requiring knowledge of server, network and end points.
-Documentation all the network and Infrastructure processes and procedures.
Key Deliverables:
-Network devices – Firewall, PS/IDS, L3 , L2 switches, Bandwidth Mgt, device Management
-Leased line Management with Bandwidth failover
-Local Area network and wifi network management
Planning network infrastructure for new applications and services, renewals and upgrades of networking equipment and infrastructure
Create and update network and Infrastructure Standard operating procedure.
Role Requirement
-Ability to understand Network environment
-Ability to Configure, monitor and manage the network infrastructure – Firewall, IPS/IDS, Leased lines, Load balancer, WIFI controller, L3 and L2 switches, etc.
-Ability to document all the SOPs pertaining to network and Infrastructure
-Demonstrated experience in problem solving skills
-Effectively support team members & all key stakeholders
-Be an active Team player
-Ability to work independently with minimal assistance
-Exhibits ability to provide simple solutions to complex processes
-Good communication skills ( both written & oral)
Knowledge & Qualifications
Qualification :
-Bachelor’s degree in IT field
-Certification in Networking – CCNA, CCNP
-Working knowledge in Firewall, Servers, Networking devices
-2 -5 years’ experience in IT Networking (Infrastructure)
