NEDAR Entrepreneurs Network, first ever Business Network for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities in the Country is promoted and supported by NEDAR Foundation, a Section 8 Not For Profit Company.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to lead Indias first ever NEDAR Entrepreneurs Network tailored for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities. As the Business Network Manager, you will be responsible for fostering a supportive and empowering community that enables individuals with disabilities to thrive in entrepreneurship. Your role will involve a combination of community engagement, program development, and strategic partnerships to ensure the success and growth of our network members and increase opportunities to enhance their business growth.
Responsibilities:
Community Building and Engagement:
- Cultivate a vibrant and inclusive community for entrepreneurs with disabilities, fostering networking opportunities, peer support, and collaboration.
- Organize regular meetings, events, and workshops to facilitate knowledge sharing, skill development, and networking among network members.
- Retain and grow membership to the Network in a sustainable manner
- Create awareness about the Network to motivate Entrepreneurs with Disabilities to become member of the Network
Program Development and Implementation:
- Develop and oversee programs that provide resources, mentorship, and training specific to the needs of entrepreneurs with disabilities.
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to enhance program offerings and support services.
- Bring Marketing and Financial Linkage opportunities for Business Growth
Member Support and Advocacy:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for network members, offering guidance, resources, and referrals to support their business endeavors.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of entrepreneurs with disabilities within the broader business and community ecosystem.
- Network to collaborate with other Industry Associations and Networks
Strategic Partnerships and Fundraising:
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations to secure funding and partnerships.
- Identify strategic opportunities for collaboration and funding that advance the mission and impact of our business network.
- Actively seek and obtain linkages to Funding / Marketing and Rehab support for the Members of the Network
- Identify new business opportunities which are suitable for the Network Members and share with them
- Facilitate Network Members to register under Udyam Portal and become part of MSME sector
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of network activities, member profiles, and outcomes achieved including impact monitoring and reporting
- Prepare regular reports and updates for stakeholders, demonstrating the impact and effectiveness of the business network.
Qualification & Experience Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in relevant area
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a business or any Start-Up Incubator or entrepreneurial context will be preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Counselling and Business Coaching skills for micro and nano businesses
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent IT skills including Digital and social media
- Ability to work through on-line and off-line mode
·Excellent skills to read, write and speak in English and Hindi. In addition, proficiency in any other Indian Language will be advantageous
- Passion for supporting entrepreneurship and promoting inclusivity in business.
