JOBDESCRIPTION
Assist Law Enforcement Agency for CSEAM Investigation & Analysis
Analyse digital evidence related to CSEAM cases using specialized tools and techniques in the cases assigned by police.
Conduct forensic investigations on devices, networks and online platforms involved in CSEAM activities.
Track, document and report online CSEAM trends and tactics used by offenders. Policy and Compliance Support
Ensure adherence to legal frameworks such as IT Act, POCSO Act and relevant international conventions.
Assist in preparing guidelines /SOP’s/IEC materials for digital evidence collection, case management & awareness generation.
Capacity Building
Conduct training sessions for law enforcement officers on cybercrime and CSEAM investigation techniques.
Develop knowledge resources, including manuals, SOPs and e-learning materials
To take sensitization workshop on cyber hygiene & etiquettes for online safety (children & communities)
Technology Utilisation
Help law enforcement agencies to use advanced software and AI tools for CSEAM detection and content moderation.
Stay updated with the latest trends in cyber forensics and tools used in the fight against CSEAM.
Research & Reporting
Produced detailed case reports, intelligence briefs and research papers on CSEAM related cybercrime.
Contribute to periodic assessments and impact analysis of anti-CSEAM initiatives.
Any other work assigned by the supervisor
EDUCATIONANDEXPERIENCE:
A person with a graduation degree in the field of Law, Criminology, Psychology, Social Work, or Computer Science.
A basic understanding of website technology, online security, and personal security on the web, which can be acquired through online courses, certifications, or workshops.
Experience in working with child victims or in related sectors such as social work, law enforcement, or child protection would be an advantage.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present information to stakeholders such as law enforcement, in a factual and pragmatic tone.
The ability to work in a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality is also important.
Cyber security specialists are responsible for discovering vulnerabilities and risks in networks, software systems and data centres with ongoing vulnerability scans, monitoring network data, and ensuring hardware and software applications are updated.
