Job Title: Regional Manager Corporate  Engagement

 

Position Reports To: Head – Resource Mobilization Institutions

Location

Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata

 

 

Primary Purpose of Job

 

Contribute to the ministry of organization by proactively scouting for and engaging with likeminded Indian corporations and raise funds to support key organization programmes through Corporate Social Responsibility funding

Key Deliverables:

  • Research, scout and target potential corporations for funding towards organization programmes
  • Network and connect with corporates through calls, meetings and other social networks and understand their CSR objectives for effective corporate engagement
  • Prepare competitive project proposals along with Operations & Presales team and submit proposals to corporates within the given deadlines.
  • Be actively involved in go no go debates and decision making for corporate CSR opportunities along with the operations team
  • Follow up with Corporates on submitted proposals
  • Work closely with corporates in clinching partnerships and raising income to the tune of 12 Crores through CSR funding.
  • Prepare MOUs for clinched partnerships and follow up on payments for first 1year of the partnership
  • Understand competitive trends in the CSR arena and ensure organization is always ahead of the curve.
  • Position organization   as a preferred partner at key CSR and Corporate Forums.

Understand Corporate CSR requirements and prepare competitive proposals to be submitted to Corporates

  • Researching on potential CSR partners through website and other CSR platforms on CSR initiatives and their relevance to organization’s programme areas
  • Calls and meetings held with corporates to understand priority areas for CSR
  • No. of proposals worked on and customized for corporates

Generating leads through calls, meetings, inbound leads, professional networking sites

  • Reaching out to corporates, PSUs and CSR forums through calls, meetings, professional networking sites and visits to corporate offices
  • No. of leads generated for corporate CSR partnerships

Conversion of leads into CSR partnerships by submitting timely and quality proposals and maintaining good relations with key

CSR heads

  • Evaluate qualified leads and reach out to them quickly
  • Monitor and influence the progress of leads by presenting relevant proposals
  • Total cash value of the partnerships won and income realized during the tenure of the corporate’s first project with organization.

Opportunity Tracking – Tracking of all corporate leads from time lead was generated to handing over of successful partnerships to Relationship Management

team

 

  • Regular updating of team’s content management / CSR systems, qualifying of leads and recording win-rates of proposals submitted.

Position organization as preferred    CSR partner at key CSR & Corporate Forums

  • Enroll to be active members in forums and corporate bodies to enlarge scope for the ministry, like AIMA, MMA, CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, etc.

  • Excellent written and Oral communication skills (English & Hindi)
  • Proficiency in English (especially reading and writing) and good Proposal writing, budgeting and project planning

Knowledge & Qualifications (the specific qualifications and knowledge

required)

  • Post-Graduate in Development, Social Work, Marketing
  • Knowledge of sustainable development and role of CSR / Corporate Philanthropy.
  • Thorough knowledge of key organization development programmes across various technical programming areas.
  • Basic principles of marketing, sales and customer relations.
       
 

 

Experience (the experience gained - including environment, timeframe and

context)

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in development sector, sales/ marketing, business development. (From NGO sector preferred)
  • Experience in business development
  • Experience in preparing concept notes and proposal writing
  • Accustomed to traveling to other cities across the region
