To identify, plan and implement outreach activities at various venues (Corporate Complexes, Malls, Exhibitions & Others) and create a platform for organization recruiters to interact with employees/executives of those venues to meet fundraising goals.
Main duties
Developing plans & activities
Develop a database of qualified venues through various sources like internet, referrals, telephone, F2F cold calling & networking within a given territory
Creating and presenting proposals on Client’s campaigns to get permissions for recruiters to canvass at corporate/shopping/exhibition venues
Input into developing the annual outreach plan of activity
Design outreach events in line with guidelines defined by Client’s campaigns and other guidelines set by the Outreach Manager
Relationship building
Collaborating with other organizations/vendors to co-develop relevant events at the venues
Build relationships with other NGOs canvassing at the venues to co-host/develop events at the venues
Make recommendations to individuals & corporates on solutions to their specific social impact problems - seeking and incorporating inputs from client’s program staff
Building relationships with point of contact at the venues
Seeking referrals to other venues/corporates
Knowledge sharing
Sharing learnings & knowledge with outreach colleagues in the team to develop case studies for permissions in other cities or national level permissions.
Train outreach recruiters & GCs on messaging in the venue & the activity plan
Decisions
Make decisions on scheduling events at various locations, activity design, dos and don’ts to be followed in the venue
Assign work to organization Recruiters, whenever needed in consultation with the respective unit head
Outreach officer has the authority to call off the outreach events which would not serve campaign /FR objectives based on ground realities and external situation in the consultation with Sr.TM & Outreach manager.
Approve expenses required for outreach events within specified limits in consultation with Outreach manager & Sr.TM

Applied knowledge and skill
1 year experience in event management or B2B sales (preferably)
Good knowledge about 1-2 social impact issues & their solutions
General understanding of the corporates and public spaces in the city
Experience conducting secondary research & building a database
Experience and skills to design and deliver presentations & proposals
Planning & organizing skills – ability to make plans and task lists
Rapport building skills with corporates/management staff
Ability to consistently meet targets
Experience using of MS Office software internet and social media platforms for research purposes
