Support content requirements of the Creative Services team by providing attractive and relevant ideas and communication solutions using designs that will have a specific impact on our online fundraising and public engagement efforts
Location - Chennai
Key Deliverables:
Create persuasive and effective content that appeals to various target audiences, especially online audiences
Design for various fundraising needs (primarily online), ensuring completeness and correctness of the content.
Design reports that will sensitize our partners on how their money is making difference in the lives of the children we serve.
Present organization India’s interventions in a reader/viewer-friendly manner, customized for various stakeholders.
Conceive and execute online campaigns for fundraising/awareness
Key Accountabilities Enhance engagement with Organisation India's stakeholders
New ways of (more) engagement of (more) stakeholders.
Content in social media, magazines, newsletters, reports, and all communication channels to position the organisation's interventions and more importantly showcase the impact on children.
Create content to support Resource Mobilisation Efforts
Support fundraising teams in all their initiatives of engagement creating micro-sites, emailers, ads, banners, videos, newsletters, etc.
Provided support to scale up fundraising through digital platform
Create content to position the organidsation India's work
Provide engaging design at all touchpoints for internal and external stakeholders.
Engage a large audience and leverage social media as a legitimate brand visibility and marketing tool by designing compelling content.
Increase presence on Social Media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Focus on Content Marketing as a strategic approach to engage with stakeholders.
Provide creative designs and communication solutions in alignment with organisation Child Protection and Branding policies
Create campaigns to increase public engagement for awareness and fundraising
Conceive campaigns on issues to be addressed.
Provide striking design for campaigns that help increase awareness on various issues in the community.
End-to-end support for campaigns that help in fundraising and public engagement
Support field and NO departments in improving content
Designing/re-designing content from field and other NO departments
Ensure correctness in all forms of content that goes out of the organisation to sponsors, donors or general public and ensure adherence of all content to our communication guidelines.
Role Requirement
Skills (the leadership skills to do the job)
Take charge of the audiences you are responsible for and have the ability to communicate directly to them and engage them
Have a clear understanding of the media of communication, the language and the forms and demonstrate expertise
Challenge and inspire copy partner to deliver higher quality content and co-create communication solutions
Knowledge & Qualifications (the specific qualifications and knowledge required)
Degree in visual communications / visual arts
Designing and editing with Adobe products
Strong understanding of layout, design principles
Strong command of English Strong aesthetic sense with a strong understanding of current design trends
Clarity in the organisation brand and its tone, palette, messaging and communication guidelines
Insightful understanding of diverse audiences across India needed
Understanding of the development sector and the rationale behind giving and philanthropy preferred
Experience (the experience gained - including environment, timeframe and context
Minimum two years as a designer for a national brand
Work in the development sector preferred
Ability to work with short turnaround times and high expectations is a must
